The long and short about Why Today Was A Sucky Day.

My curses prayers were actually answered: Ms Tan extended her MC yesterday. Maybe I should start investing in 4D or something.

Unfortunately, that was not really that fortunate an event because I was on medical leave too. Damn. And hell in the form of a ‘heart-to-heart’ chat was waiting for me when I went back to work this morning.

Ms Tan: I am very disappointed with your handling of Project X.

Me: Yes Mdm. (You have a damn uneven tan, Ms Tan. Heh heh.)

Ms Tan: You better start performing. And it was very irresponsible of you to take MC in the middle of an on-going project.

Me: Yes Mdm. (At least I didn’t malingered at Bali, bitch.)

Ms Tan: Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. . . .

Me: Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm Yes Mdm. (I wanna go pee.)

I pray there will be a day when I can dunk her head into hot coffee.

Sibeh Sian

The long and short about Why Tomorrow Will Be A Sucky Day

After clocking a grand total of three days' MC, the office bitch the lying malingerer my department head, Ms Tan, will be back from her super extended Bali trip. I was kind of hoping she will extend it again because our Project X client didn't sound very happy over the phone this morning.

Maybe I shall take an MC tomorrow.

Sibeh Sian.

The long and short about Why I Feel Like Bitch-Slapping My Colleagues Sometimes

The resident bimbo in my office struck again.

Me (via email): Please go through my proposal for Project Y, thanks. Will submit it to The Boss if there’re no mistakes.

Couple of minutes later.

Resident Bimbo (via email): I spotted a few spelling errors. Can you please go through it again? Heehee ^_^

I don’t know if it’s just me, or that it would be much more efficient if she can simply tell me where the mistakes are. So I decided to send her another email.

Me (via email): Can you highlight the errors in the report and send it back to me asap? The boss needs it by noon.

Couple of minutes later.

Resident Bimbo (via email): Boohoo! I spilled some coffee on my cardigan =(!!

I so feel like bitch-slapping my colleagues sometimes.

The long and short about It’s A Great Feeling Not Working On Friday

Decided to call in sick after my alarm clock failed to wake me up this morning.

The long and short about Malingerers

Just when I thought the working attitude of Ms Tan can’t get any worse, it did. She just called and said she will be on medical leave tomorrow because she thinks she will be sun-burnt.

Sounds like a clear case of malingering to me.

While I’m kind of happy that I won’t have to see her for the rest of the week, that also means that I have to cover Project X on my own, and that sucks. I’m seriously considering whether if I should do the right thing by voicing out my concerns to the boss. I think I should be brave, and write an anonymous email to him.

Seriously, Ms Tan ought to re-examine her actions. Being a department head, she should be setting a shining example for her staff to follow, by doing meaningful stuff such as treating her subordinates to dinner on a regular basis. What she should not be doing is stuff like taking leave in the middle of the week and extending it with MC. If I am the boss, I’ll enforce company discipline by docking her pay and bonuses. Actually, come to think of it, I’ll probably sack her and promote the very virtuous Sibeh Sian to her current position instead.

Alas, the above is not possible because I am not the boss, and even if I am, I can’t promote myself to become the department head because I already am the boss. This is a complicated world that we live in.

People should start to realize that integrity is the very pillar of honesty, honor, and integrity. Only the unenlightened malingers. I will never do that kind of thing.

The long and short about The Misadventures of Sibeh Sian

Some men are born with greatness. Some men achieve greatness. But I suspect most just have great piss trust upon them.

Sadly, I belong to the latter.

The reason why I said I got great piss trust upon me is because I’m typing this. I’m typing this because I’m in the office. I’m in the office because at 5:28pm yesterday, I was summoned to the office of the resident office bitch my department head, Ms Tan.

Ms Tan: I’ve cancelled your leave for tomorrow.

Ms Tan: I need you to cover Project X.

Ms Tan: To make up for that, you can go off early today.

Just in case you are wondering, I usually end my work at 5:30pm. I’ve also just discovered that I’m covering Ms Tan’s Project X because she’s got something more urgent to attend to. To be more precise, she’s now urgently sun-tanning in Bali.

I hope she gets skin cancer or something.
